1. 収集する情報

この拡張機能は、ユーザーの個人情報、閲覧内容、フォーム入力、Cookie、パスワード、広告 ID、位置情報、通信内容を収集しません。

拡張機能の動作に必要な範囲で、現在のタブと新しく作られたタブの URL をブラウザ内で一時的に参照し、同じサイトか別ドメインかを判定します。この判定は端末内でのみ行われ、外部サーバーへ送信されません。

2. 端末内に保存する情報

拡張機能の基本動作のため、次の情報を Chrome のローカルストレージに保存します。

• 拡張機能の有効/無効設定
• ブロック強度の設定
• ユーザーが追加した許可リストのドメイン名
• 一時停止の終了時刻
• 累計ブロック件数
• 直近でブロックした送信元ドメインと遷移先ドメイン

ブロック履歴にはフル URL を保存せず、ドメイン名のみを保存します。現在のタブでブロックした件数は、拡張機能バッジ表示のためにメモリ上で一時的に保持します。

3. 外部送信・販売・共有

この拡張機能は、ユーザーデータを外部サーバーへ送信しません。開発者、第三者、広告ネットワーク、分析サービスへデータを送信する機能もありません。

ユーザーデータを販売、共有、貸与、広告目的、信用力判断、融資目的で利用することはありません。

4. 権限の利用目的

• tabs: 新しく開かれたタブの URL と元タブを確認し、不審な別ドメイン新規タブを閉じるために使用します。
• webNavigation: 新規タブまたは新規ウィンドウが作られたタイミングを検知するために使用します。
• storage: 設定、許可リスト、ドメイン名のみのブロック履歴を端末内に保存するために使用します。
• <all_urls>: 任意のサイトで発生する強制的な別ドメイン新規タブを検知するために使用します。

5. English Full Privacy Policy

Cross-Domain Tab Guard is a Chrome extension provided by Design Studio Obrizm. It is designed to detect and block unwanted new tabs or new windows that open to a different domain without the user's clear intent.

5.1 Information We Collect

Cross-Domain Tab Guard does not collect personal information, page content, form input, cookies, passwords, advertising identifiers, location data, communication contents, or analytics data.

To provide its core feature, the extension temporarily checks the URL of the current tab and the URL of a newly created tab inside the browser. This check is used only to determine whether the new tab belongs to the same site or to a different domain. The check is performed locally on the user's device and is not sent to any external server.

5.2 Information Stored Locally

The extension stores the following information in Chrome local storage for its basic operation:

• whether the extension is enabled or disabled;
• the selected blocking strength;
• domains added by the user to the allowlist;
• the time when a temporary pause ends;
• the total number of blocked tabs;
• recently blocked source domains and destination domains.

The extension does not store full URLs in its block history. It stores domain names only. The number of blocked tabs for the current tab may be temporarily kept in memory to display the extension badge.

5.3 External Transmission, Sharing, and Sale

Cross-Domain Tab Guard does not transmit user data to external servers. It does not send user data to the developer, third parties, advertising networks, analytics services, or data brokers.

User data is not sold, shared, rented, used for advertising, used to determine creditworthiness, or used for lending purposes.

5.4 Use of Permissions

• tabs: Used to check the URL of a newly opened tab and its source tab, so that suspicious cross-domain new tabs can be closed.
• webNavigation: Used to detect when a new tab or new window is created.
• storage: Used to store settings, allowlisted domains, and domain-only block history locally on the user's device.
• <all_urls>: Used to detect unwanted cross-domain new tabs that may occur on any website.

5.5 Limited Use

The extension uses data only to provide and improve its single purpose: detecting and blocking unwanted cross-domain new tabs or new windows. The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
